FORGIVENESS

FORGIVENESS

FORGIVENESS.

We all mess up.

We say the wrong thing, we choose the wrong path, we hurt people—even the ones we love most.

And sometimes, we carry that weight for years, tucked in the corners of our minds where no one can see.

But here’s the truth I’m learning, slowly and imperfectly: we all deserve forgiveness.

Not because we’ve done enough to earn it, but because we’re human.

Because none of us make it through life without bruising others, and getting bruised in return.

Forgiveness isn’t about pretending it didn’t happen—it’s about saying, it happened, and I’m still choosing to let go.

Forgiving someone else is hard, but forgiving yourself?

That’s brutal.

It means facing what you did without flinching, and still saying, I am not my worst moment.

I’m not saying we should excuse every mistake or ignore the damage we cause—but I do believe we need to make room for redemption.

If we keep holding each other in the shadows of who we were, how will anyone ever grow?

How will we?

We all deserve forgiveness in our hearts, even if it takes time.

Even if it’s messy.

Because without it, none of us ever really get free.

Have a blessed day and weekend.
